Cats Luck

On my way to pride and decided to stop by this amazing vegan joint and omg the atmosphere of this place was super adorable but the food! Holy shit it was out of this world!!! The cook definitely puts their all into the food. I will definitely be back!

What a seriously AMAZING place. Cats Luck has been on my bucket list for awhile & I finally got to visit. This place is a GEM! I’ve been vegan for over a decade & this place is hands down in my top 3 best vegan spots! Cool people, super fun decor, loving & welcoming vibes to ALL - AND amazing mind blowing vegan food!!! They offer a staple menu but always have rotating new things to try. Their dessert selection? Out of this world!!! Delicious! Unique! What we got on our visit: - vegan chicken & waffles. The BEST! The waffle portion was massive. Super moist, dense & sweet. The perfect waffle completed with super crispy & flavorful fried chicken! It was served with butter, gravy & maple syrup- how perfect. - a bunch of desserts to go! Their cookies were super moist & delicious. It was Halloween weekend so they had so many adorable Halloween themed treats- including a delicious cake cup with was super cute with orange/black theme with chocolate zombie fingers! Seriously, come & support this GREAT place! They have amazing vegan breakfast, brunch & lunch offerings as well as to go items & mind blowing vegan desserts you cannot skip! We cannot WAIT to return & become regulars. They had street parking right out front & picnic tables to eat at. They don’t offer indoor dining. Vegan or not - come here for banging food, treats & good vibes!

Cats Luck is an absolutely wonderful place for the plant based community (and the community in general!). Not only do they have wonderful food but their small staff is amazing. They always have a bakery case FULL of some of the most creative and interesting treats, all of which are great. Their apple cider donuts (when they have them) are my favorite donuts I’ve ever had in my life. They have a wide menu of typical American style comfort food and they also often run specials with really cool, innovative additions to the menu for a limited time. The people who work there are great. They are friendly, personable and just downright good people with good hearts it seems. The space itself has limited seating indoors and a handful of picnic tables outdoors to eat your food. They also host events every so often that are always a hit and a nice way to spend time with your community.

Cat’s Luck isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a whole vibe. From the second you step inside, you know you’re in for something special. The energy is warm, the staff is genuinely kind, and the food? Absolutely next level. Let’s talk about the crunchwraps first, because WOW. Perfectly crisp on the outside, loaded with flavor on the inside, and so ridiculously satisfying that you’ll start questioning why you ever ate anything else. Every bite is a symphony of textures and tastes—like a love letter to comfort food, but completely plant-based. And just when you think it can’t get any better, the desserts come in and steal the show. These aren’t just desserts; they’re masterpieces. Rich, decadent, and so insanely good that you’ll want to order extras to take home (trust me, you should). Cat’s Luck is one of those rare places that feels like a hidden gem but deserves all the hype in the world. Whether you’re vegan or just a fan of food that slaps, this place will win you over in an instant. 12/10, would eat here every day if I could!

Today was my second visit here, and Cat's Luck's food, vibe, and service did not disappoint. My wife and I got a Brunchwrap, Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese on a bagel, side of biscuits and gravy, and a large treats box. Everything is fresh, delicious, and flavorful. The cosmic brownie and chocolate cake are my favorites. I have to admit I was a little starstruck to see and meet the owner Michelle - I just moved back home to NJ from NC and have been following Cats Luck on social media. I was so excited to bring my wife here today for the first time - she absolutely loved the food. Thank you, Cat's Luck, for being such a great local business!

The first time I came through back in April, I ordered multiple boxes of baked goods for customer visits and received rave reviews from everyone so I knew this was a keeper. Coming through today for lunch and a pile of sweets to bring home, I very pleased with ny Blueberry Bacon Crunchwrap. Would’ve loved more of the Violife feta throughout but still delicious. Face it, the journey back to Western MA is a barren wasteland with few vegan bakeries unless you stay along and through northern NJ. CT and Western MA have zippo, zero, niet. That’s why it’s especially important to load up!

Literally one of my favorite places in NJ. Amazing food and a huge selection that makes it difficult for me to decide what to get. I'm partial to the breakfast platter, diner crunch wrap, and anything with the chicken seitan. That seitan is magic and the best around! And of course there's all sorts of sweets as well, but I'd rather eat piles of seitan, mac and cheese, etc. Plus Michelle and her crew are the best! NEPTUNE CITY: Cats Luck Vegan is a fan favorite restaurant specializing in fun breakfast and lunch options and everything is 100% vegan! The Cool Joe specialty sandwich is MASSIVE and boasts vegan meat, egg, cheese, bacon, and loads of toppings. It is like a vegan fat breakfast sandwich! They offer up a huge assortment of sandwiches, plates like chicken and waffles, smothered fries, crunchwraps, and even a nice gluten free section. There is a full bakery and cafe and they also do catering! Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed at the outdoor picnic tables right in front of the building. We happened to visit when they were having a garage sale and picked up a vegan cookbook for 1. Check them out on social media for specials and events!
